Shadows of a gloomy light
Hunt me down into the night,
Make my life so blue, so sad,
Aiming thorns at love I had
for you.

Forgive me, dear, for I have sinned
And my heart in Hell is pinned.
Illusions feed me only lies
Bringing tears and dust my eyes
by wind.

Darkness falls across the land,
Dreaming time is close at hand.
Can’t just shut my eyes, for theese
Nightmares terrorise my peace
till end.

Flooding me with cursed rivers
Down my back I feel cold shivers,
As my blood with love is poisoned
And my heart in pain is moistened,
